Comm,
My oldest friend (who I have known for over 25 years now), who I first boarded in her
house with for the first 7 years when I moved to Boston, is a single, straight, black
woman, Joan, who is an attorney has repeatedly given me here services to be as an
attorney, without charged, often when I desperately needed them. She lives in her house
3 streets away from me and has lived there her entire life.
Joan knows far *more* about Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos, as well as science fiction,
fantasy, and horror, and a great, great many other fields of knowledge than you ever will
or would be able to. She has had a chapbook on the books of the Mythos published and
was one of the co-founders and co-chairs (along with me) of "NecronomiCon: The Cthulhu
Mythos Convention" for the 5 times that convention was held over a decade.
"NecronomiCon" remains a very well-respect and greatly enjoyed convention by many
Lovecraftians, including a number of posters to a.h.c. Many wish it would be held again.
